Our range of manual presses gives us the ability to cater for unusual requirements. We are able to offer short production runs of washers and to manufacture components from materials that are either unsuitable for or are not available in a format that can be used on an auto press.
Washer production is not limited to standard sizes: we are accustomed to offering parts which match customer specifications exactly. Washer tooling is quickly assembled from our vast, and still growing, range of interchangeable tool components and, for a small cost, can be easily adjusted to meet an exact tolerance. Each part of the tooling assembly has a unique identification code, which allows the combination of tooling parts used to manufacture an item to be recorded on the component stock card, ensuring accuracy and consistency for repeat orders.
We also use the manual presses for additional operations on components i.e. putting holes or slots into caps.
The travelling head press is ideal for larger components with a maximum size of 400mm. Components can be produced straight from the roll or from sheet material, cutting down on preparation time and leading to a faster turn around of orders.
The clicker press is used for smaller components and materials that are supplied in a small format.
